Privacy Policy
Meet Agenda is a Chrome extension that shows agenda items from your calendar during a Google Meet call. It is built so that nothing leaves your computer. This page states exactly what it reads, where that ends up and how to remove it.
Who is responsible
The extension is developed and provided by John Guthed as a personal project. Questions about this policy go through the contact page on guthed.se.
What data is read
With your consent, the extension reads events from your primary Google Calendar through the Google Calendar API, using the calendar.events.readonly scope. That scope is read-only: the extension cannot create, change or delete anything in your calendar.
It fetches events within a window of two hours before and after the current time, and uses each event’s title, start time, description and Meet link to find the meeting you are in and show its agenda items.
What is stored, and where
The following is stored in Chrome’s local extension storage on your computer: the meeting title and start time, which agenda items you have checked off, your own items and the position of the panel on screen. The invitation description itself is not stored, only a checksum for the items you have checked off.
Nothing is stored on any server. The extension has no backend, no account and no sync between devices.
What is shared with others
Nothing. The only network traffic goes to Google’s Calendar API to fetch your events. The extension uses no analytics, no tracking and no third-party services. Data is not sold, shared or used for advertising.
Google’s Limited Use requirements
Meet Agenda’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The data is used solely to display the agenda for the meeting you are attending.
Revoking access and deleting data
You can revoke the extension’s access to your calendar at any time under Security and Third-party apps in your Google Account, at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Removing the extension from Chrome deletes everything it has stored locally.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated. The current version is always available at this address.
