Meet Agenda

I sit in a lot of meetings where, ten minutes in, I no longer remember what we were actually meant to cover, or which question I had planned to push. The agenda is in the calendar invitation, but that lives in another tab, behind the video.

So I built a small panel that sits on top of Meet. It finds the meeting in my calendar, pulls the items out of the invitation’s description and shows them in the corner. Every item can be checked off, and below the invitation’s items I can add my own, private ones: things I need to get said but don’t want in the shared invitation. The panel can be dragged around, collapsed and closed, and what is checked stays checked if I come back to the meeting later.

Everything stays in the browser. The extension reads the calendar with read-only permission and stores check-offs and my own items locally. No server, no account, no AI. Parsing the description is rule-based, which is predictable and goes a long way when the invitation has a bullet list. When it doesn’t, the text is shown as is and I write the items myself.

It was built with Claude Code from a brief where the decisions were made up front: only Meet, only Chrome, Chrome’s own look rather than a custom one. Nine steps, each reviewed by an independent agent before the next could start, then verified in a real meeting, with me alone in the room and three test items in the invitation.

Right now I use it myself. If it holds up over time, the plan is to offer it to others. How it handles calendar data is described in the privacy policy, and the terms are in the terms of service.
